Brake Pedal Goes To Floor After Bleeding. If the reservoir is full try pumping the brake pedal to see if the pressure returns. Thisis likely not the case.
Noticed a brake noise on driver rear side. Disc or drum brakes. With ABS Brake Pressure Modulator Valve BPMV or Hydraulic Control Unit HCU have been replaced or are suspected of having trapped air bleed it as follows.
Prior to changing the pedal was normal but after bleeding the pedal now goes all the to the floor with minimal resistance.
All you have to do is take the lid off of the master cylinder reservoir and check the fluid level. No friends available to help. Usual contaminates include air or moisture in the system. So with the pedal fully depressed and held there I unscrew the bleeder valve a quarter turn or so until fluid starts flowing out.
