As a new grad you may need to unfortunately suck it up for a while and do a job you dont want just for the experience.
But what you describe as basic nursing skills that all nurses in all specialties should have is misleading. I realize floor nursing is not always glamorous but it is what gives an NP skill in crucial decision-making and compassion for the human spirit. In fact there are certain things about our job that should deter nurse-hopefuls from even making the attempt.
