To buff hardwood flooring begin in the corner of the room farthest from the door and work your way from left to right across that back portion of the room.
Let the floor dry and clean the floor to get rid of any dirt or dust on the floor.
The buffer will spin clockwise so go with this motion buffing left to right to work in the wax. Ensure that the buffing machine is set to rotate in clockwise position. Typically the cost is dependent on the square footage of the location. If the product advertises no buffing or if the floor looks glossy and attractive once dry you may skip this step.
